About:

GRASP Speech Pathology is a mobile speech pathology service based in Sydney’s Inner West. We service the Inner West, Inner-City and South West of Sydney.

We provide speech pathology services to children, young people and adults in natural environments including:

  • Home

  • School

  • Online via Telehealth

  • In the community including parks, libraries, community centres, places of employment.

  • Childcare

  • Preschool

We service participants of the NDIS, Medicare and private paying clients.

GRASP Speech Pathology additionally offers professional supervision and support to new graduate and early career Speech Pathologists face-to-face or online.

Meet the team:

As a mobile speech pathologist, Irini Kouvalakis has dedicated her career to delivering high-quality services directly to clients in the comfort of their own environments. Her expertise and commitment to excellence have been honed through over 7 years of hands-on work experience in the disability sector. Irini is equipped with a comprehensive skill set, enabling her to support individuals work on their communication goals.

Irini has also tutored speech pathology students at the Australian Catholic University, University of Technology and Western Sydney University and is committed to lifelong learning.

Irini enjoys and prides herself on her ability to provide professional career support and supervision to new graduate and early career speech pathologists.

Irini is fluent in the Greek language and provides services to the Greek Community of Sydney.

Irini has a particular interest in supporting communication in real-life contexts—social interaction, independence, and functional communication. She enjoys supporting older students transitioning into adulthood with communication skills for independence, work, and daily life.

Outside of work, Irini enjoyed arts/crafts, cooking, nature and spending time with her greyhound, Bambi.
